Located in beautiful Southern California, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by perfect weather and a vibrant, cosmopolitan culture. This unique setting provides children with greater opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. To support their diverse interests, we offer a wide range of enrichment classes, including swimming, languages (French, Spanish, and more), piano, ballet, sculpting, arts and crafts, culinary science, sign language, gymnastics, and music.
In keeping with our name, we never miss an opportunity to have fun and celebrate. Our frequent events bring families together, creating a strong sense of community where parents get to know one another while their children develop lifelong friendships.
What sets us apart from other local preschools is our commitment to fostering not just academic growth but also social and emotional development through a variety of extracurricular activities. Our students participate in public events beyond the classroom, allowing them to develop a wide range of talents and gain confidence in their abilities.
We aim to provide everything a child needs in one place, sparing busy parents from having to shuttle between multiple activities. Our extensive enrichment programs continue to expand based on parent feedback, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our students. In addition to our daily curriculum, we offer after-school care, summer camps, and tutoring, giving children more opportunities to learn and grow.
We are committed to inclusivity and serve all families on a nondiscriminatory basis. We hope you find our website both informative and easy to navigate, with quick access to downloadable forms, calendars, newsletters, and more. Our website’s photos and illustrations are inspired by the artwork and creativity of our students, adding a personal touch we are proud to share.
As Dr. Maria Montessori said, "Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed." This philosophy guides everything we do, empowering children to reach their full potential.
At preschool, children typically learn basic academic skills such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. They may also begin to learn basic reading and math skills, including letter sounds, simple sight words, counting, and basic addition and subtraction. We make sure kids are ready for KG. Skills will become Simple to complex as children will be growing from reading 3 letter words to sentences.
Montessori Funtime Preschool helps children develop social skills by providing opportunities for them to interact with other children in a structured and supportive environment. Teachers use games, role-playing, and other activities to help children learn how to communicate, cooperate, and resolve conflicts with others. Social skills play an important part in the whole child’s development. At preschool, kids also learn about how to make friends, how to talk, learn grace & courtesy, follow directions, etc.
In addition to academic and social skills, we also help children develop a range of other important skills, such as motor skills (e.g. fine motor skills for writing and drawing), self-help skills (e.g. using the bathroom independently), and emotional regulation skills (e.g. identifying and expressing emotions appropriately).
We use a variety of methods to track children’s progress, including observations, assessments, and checklists. Teachers also meet regularly with parents to discuss their child’s progress and identify areas where additional support may be needed. An assessment will be given to see what the child knows now and how he/she will be progressing with us.
Montessori Funtime Preschool helps prepare children for elementary school by providing a strong foundation in academic, social, and emotional skills.
We focus on whole child development from academic to social skills. Parents get updated on an everyday basis. We have four different levels of learning at the preschool. The child will start at Level A by learning about the Sound of the letter (to become an early reader with phonics), counting, and recognizing the numbers, colors, shapes, etc. Going on stage is very imp at an early age to have no fear of public speaking and we give a lot of chances for kids to do that to do performances every quarter like Global village, Holiday Concerts, Spring festival & graduation events, etc
